Release Notes

So today i have released onto Codeplex a SharePoint 2010 Masterpage design which is inspired from the Metro UI of Windows 8. The design has the following features:

Fixes : Chrome Support, Wrapping Navigation, Repositioned Search Box
Liquid Layout
Cufon Integration
Jquery Accordion Quicklaunch with Sub Item Count
Full Solution with single Site Feature to activate branding (Thanks CKS:Dev Team)

LATEST SANDBOX VERSION ADDED******************

I have updated the blue version with the accordion to be installable in a Sandbox Solution. Please not that with sandbox solutions you cannot use application pages therefore the configuration & theme switcher has been disabled. I will need to think of a suitable way to make changes accessible (perhaps ribbon controls)

Enjoy :)

IMPORTANT : Please can you provide bugs in the issue tracker. I have had a couple of comments mentioning issues with no further information. I cannot fix them if i do not have accurate issue details.

If you would please leave me comments be it positive or negative they are all welcome. I hope you enjoy and if you come across any bugs please let me know and i can fix them.

As soon as I upload the solution and activate.. I get this error - The expression prefix 'SPUrl' was not recognized. Please correct the prefix or register the prefix in the <expressionBuilders> section of configuration. its a SharePoint 2010 Foundation site.

Great UI and was able to apply it simply by activitating solution at the top level site. But had to disable it because of the "File not found" error. Can you please tell me how to resolve this issue?

Works OK on my main landing site, but on the Productivity Hub 2010 site it fails for users other than myself (admin). At first I thought it was a permissions issue, but as soon as I diactivated the solution, users got access. Error page not found pops up when enabled with a correlation ID error

Excellent work! I have only one complaint/question: I'm experiencing some problems with setting up users, since it seems like you have to have a minimum of "Hierarchy Rights" to look at sites with this masterpage - which most of my users don't have. Please proove me wrong :-)

Looking good! A few minor problems but well worth a look.

Love the look, just wish it was compatible with Office 365 SharePoint. When I try to upload the solution on Office 365 I receive an error: "This solution contains invalid markup or elements that cannot be deployed as part of a sandboxed solution." I have been able to upload other .WSP's, just imagine this one references something we're locked out of.

Nice clean and slick ... a few minor bugs ... but overall a great effort.
